Description

At the request of the group, a stop can be made in Curtea de Arges, where you will visit the impressive Orthodox Monastery of the XIV-th century, which houses the tombs of the royal family.

Then, the Vidraru Dam, an engineering jewel, the place where bungee-jumping practitioners meet.

We continue in the Transfagarasan, a road built for military strategic purposes at the initiative of Nicolae Ceausescu between 1970-1974. According to the Top Gear team, this is one of the most beautiful roads in the world. The road was made with considerable material efforts and with the cost of lives of soldiers and workers and exceeds, on some segments, the altitude of 2,000 meters.

We reach the Balea Lake, a glacial lake located at 2,034 m altitude, one of the most breathtaking landscapes Romania has to offer.
